Beacon (Kazuki) Gin
Long and Short of It
Perfect for kicking off Friday festivities

Ingredients:
- 1.5oz Sheringham Beacon (Kazuki) Gin
- 0.5 Red Vermouth (Esquimalt’s Red Vermouth or Martini Red Vermouth)
- 0.5oz Aperol
- 1oz Grenadine (homemade)*
- 1oz Lime Juice
Method:
Firstly chill a coupe glass by filling it with ice and set aside. Take your shaker tin/mixing glass and add all the ingredients in. Add ice and begin to shake vigorously for about 30 seconds. Then take your Coupe glass and dump the ice. Double strain (Hawthorne and fine mesh) your drink into the glass and serve up. Garnish with an orange peel.
*Grenadine Method:
Boil 1 cup of pomegranate juice, 1 cup sugar, and 2 drops of rose water into syrup and let cool before bottling.
