Celebrate New Year’s Eve in style with this festive twist on the classic French 75.

Flavour Profile: Fruity, Sweet

Difficulty: Medium

Cocktail Ingredients:

  • 1.5 oz Sheringham Seaside Gin
  • 1 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
  • .75 oz Amaretto Liqueur (Like Disaronno)
  • 2 Dashes Orange Bitters
  • 0.75 oz Rose Petal Syrup*
  • Sparkling Wine of Choice (White or Rose)

    *rose petal syrup method:

    1⁄4 cup rose petals, 3⁄4 cup water, 3⁄4 cup white sugar, 1⁄2 tsp of rose water. Add all ingredients to a saucepan, bring to light simmer, turn to low heat and allow rose petals to steep for 15 minutes. Fine strain and chill before use.

    Cocktail Method:

    Shake all ingredients in a shaker tin except for the sparkling wine, double strain into egg coupe glass, top with sparkling wine. Garnish with a lemon peel with sharp bias cut edges placed on rim of glass.
