Fresh Rhubarb Liqueur

Rhubarbarian Punch

This Thanksgiving punch is the perfect companion for your holiday feast, whether you’re serving turkey dinner or steak.

Flavour Profile: Fruity, Sweet

Difficulty: Medium

Cocktail Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Sheringham Fresh Rhubarb Liqueur
  • 1⁄4 cup Sliced Ginger
  • 1⁄4 cup Sliced Strawberries
  • 1⁄3 cup Lemon Juice
  • 1⁄2 cup Orange juice
    (Fresh squeezed is best)
  • 1⁄4 cup Cardamom Simple Syrup *
  • 1⁄4 cup water

    *Cardamom simple syrup method:

    In a saucepan, heat 1 cup water and 1 cup sugar with 1⁄4 cup cardamom pods and stir until sugar is dissolved.

    Cocktail Method:

    Add all ingredients to a punch bowl filled with ice and stir until everything is incorporated. Garnish with orange, ginger and strawberries and lemon mixed in with the punch. Serve in punch glasses with ice and mint on top.

Originally from St. John’s, Newfoundland, Michael discovered his passion for spirits at a young age. From creating infused liqueur chocolate bars at the Newfoundland Chocolate Company to bartending on George Street, his journey led him to Victoria in 2022. He fell in love with the island, despite surviving a summer heatwave. Michael developed a passion for wine, achieving WSET level 2 with distinction and pursuing level 3 in wine, level 2 in spirits, and EWA.
