A cozy cocktail perfect for the cold weather months.

Flavour Profile: Spicy, Sweet

Difficulty: Medium

Cocktail Ingredients:

  • 1 oz Sheringham Seaside Gin
  • 1 oz Pommeau De Normandie
  • .75 oz Giffard Pear Liqueur
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 1 oz Heavy Cream
  • 3 Dashes Jamaican Bitters
  • .75 oz Cinnamon Syrup*
  • 1 Whole Egg

*Cinnamon syrup method:

100g water, 100g white sugar, 3 cinnamon sticks, add water and sugar to a saucepan and heat till sugar dissolves on low to medium heat. Remove from heat and add to heat resistant container, add cinnamon sticks to sugar/water mixture and leave in fridge overnight to steep. Strain next day.

Cocktail Method:

Dry shake (no ice) all ingredients in a shaker tin for 5 seconds, then add ice to the shaker and hard shake to aerate the mixture. Double strain into a snifter glass. Grate nutmeg on top.

She focuses on the importance of fresh, local, and unique ingredients in every cocktail she creates. You can currently find Nicole behind the bar at Woodwork and Bar Henry in Edmonton, where she's always experimenting and creating new cocktails for herself and guests. She considers herself lucky to do what she loves every day.
